Professional Training in Occupational Safety and Health in General Industry (6 Months Regular Program)
CIOSHI is the International institute that provides a comprehensive program on most desired modern Industrial Safety.
The purpose of this program is to prepare the students for employment as safety Inspectors, Officers, Supervisors, Managers or to promote supplemental training for personnel previously or currently employed in these occupations. The course content includes, but is not limited to the techniques for identification, evaluation and control of safety factors causing occupational accidents and ill health, safe work practices, and skills to technically analyzing working conditions and providing technical assistance in integrating safety in the maintenance of materials, equipments and fire protection systems, statistical analysis based on ILO classifications, communication skills, leadership skills, human relations and employability.
The General Industry safety program at CIOSHI is a discipline which is advanced technology driven and as such continually evolving with new scientific requirements being addressed by safety professionals all over the world. New interpretations of the discipline are also introduced by innovative technology and CIOSHI continues to adapt the industrial safety program as the needs of the modern industries atlarge.

Accident Investigation and Analysis
Safety Administration and Industrial safety.
2. Personal Protective Equipment Used In industries.
Fire Protection – Fire protection, prevention and extinguishment
Safe Work Permit System – A Tool Ensuring Safe Work.
3. Safety in Welding, Cutting and Bracing.
Working at height, Access and Scaffolds Safety.
Safety in the Use of Hand and Power Tools.
4. Safety in the Use of Mechanical equipment.
For Safe Motor Transportation.
Safety in Pressure Testing.
Safety in Material Handling – Manual and Mechanical.
5. Safety in the Use of Electricity.
Hazard communication in industries.
Occupational Health Hazards.
Emergency Organization Planning and Preparedness.
Training Methodology:
Multimedia Presentations with powerpoint, International Videos on every subject along with interactive sessions with eminent faculty.

Test Assessment and Examination

- Practical tests for 100 Marks
- Final examinations in Five Papers for 100 Marks Each.
- Requires a minimum of 50% for a Pass and above 60 % for First Class.
